MONROE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (4 Year College/University) VERNA WOOLFOLK-SLOAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP (Monterey Peninsula College) ELIGIBILITY This application is to be used for graduating high school seniors who reside in Monterey County and who will be attending a two-year or four-year accredited college or university OR a graduate student enrolled in a Teacher Credential Program*. ALL applicants MUST: Have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Be enrolled full-time and maintain 12 or more units in the Fall semester. Be involved in community service projects or activities. Disclose financial need. *Priority will be given to NAACP youth whose parents or legal guardians are members of the NAACP. REQUIREMENTS Scholarship applications open on December 1, 2024 and close April 15, 2025 at 11:59 P.M. NO INCOMPLETE or LATE applications will be accepted.
